Pros and cons of Chess Tactics and Lessons app for iPhone and iPad

Chess Tactics and Lessons app good for

Very good tactic app, though there are some idiots who upload illegal positions and unsolveable problems. At the moment there is a technical bug, but I hope I will soon be able to solve more tactics ;) (Note for persons under 2200 FIDE: If you want to get better, set up the pieces on a real board and calculate there. The 3-dimensional thinking is important for the progress)
I like how the app presents you with puzzles at your skill level.
Im totally addicted. Only problem is I bring it to bed and fall asleep trying to figure tough situations. My eyes close and fingers rest on wrong answer. Its keeping my rating down! Works awesome on my i5. Get it!
Mostly really good and edifying; however, some have clearly not been vetted, because they are silly - like white to move when black is in check.
The app is excellent. The app is free and the problems are good. However, the server seems to stop responding often. When this happen the new problem doesnt appear and you are stuck.
Helpful for learning. Very good. Feature request: - Have a history of the tactics youve already seen so you can review and quickly go back if you accidentally exit out. Thanks a bunch

Some bad moments

The explanation comes right on top of the chess board so you dont see any of the moves. Not very helpful
I cant open this app without it crashing. I doubt its a hardware problem since my phone is a month old Seems like a fun chess app though with cool features
Bug was fixed rapidly. But ads get back. (I already payed $1 to remove the ads, before update.)
Its a simple set-up. Just an endless supply of user-generated tactics puzzles that, especially if youre a beginner or intermediate player, will help you think better the next time youre playing chess. Its training, but theres no trainer or anything like that. The serious players can debate the finer points, but for the rest of us, you can see a big difference in your chess game for less than the cost of an energy drink.
I like it a lot! Has helped my game improve very much! Thanks!
Some of the tricks are amazing..keep you engrossed and takes good effort to solve them.
